AGE: 32

Grew up in the southern suburbs of Adelaide, Happy Valley where I lived most of my life. Before joining the Defence force, I had the dream of becoming a police officer in South Australia, however my older brother joined the Defence force as a Avionics Technician and I decided that I will follow that path as a career. In 2007 I enlisted into the Australian Army as a Combat Engineer, I was posted to the 1st Combat Engineer Regiment in Darwin.

During my time in Darwin I Deployed on multiple Operations, Operation Astute (East Timor 2008-2009) (Sumatra 2009) operation Padang Assist and in 2010 – 2011 to Afghanistan operation Slipper. It was during my time in Afghanistan I had a life changing incident which left me pulseless and to be medically flown to specialists all over the country unfortunately that required my medical separation from defence in 2014.

With my passion still burning for Defence in 2016 I Founded Heroes on the Homefront (HOTH) Veterans Charity under the Hearts4Heroes Charity. Heroes On The Homefront. HOTH helps connect Veterans to events and People to sustain the mateship and loyalty once leaving defence. I have also been lucky enough to be supported by my Assistance dog Price who was supplied to me through the Royal Society for the Blinds Operation K9 Program. Prince supports me everyday with both my PTS, social isolation and Anxiety which has allowed me to build my charity and move forward with living my best life and supporting other veterans through there struggles weather it be relationships, employment or just supporting their mates.
